Mashed potatoes and Carrots

We made these fun little cupcakes for my friend Rachel for her Birthday. Happy Birthday Rachie! We also took some to my aunt who watched Addie while we went to The Lion King. It. Was. Amazing. The costumes were the best! I almost want to make a hyena costume for Halloween. It would be a little extreme for whatever trunk-or-treat we end up at though.
And, I dug up our carrots this last week. They were purple on the outside, and even bled when I cut them. I guess that they got a little busy with the neighboring beets next door. They even tasted sweeter than usual. They looked so pretty in our sushi though!
