Everything and a bathroom sink

Kyle and I have different opinions when it comes to decorating. Pretty much whoever is going to be doing the project has the most say in what happens with the room that is being redone. My style is, umm, cheap. I love getting a good deal on things. The more that something is marked down, the more I tend to like it. Ha ha, of course, I like nice things, but just have a hard time spending money on them. We were walking around Home Depot last night and I found a bathroom vanity that was marked half off. There wasn't anything wrong with it, and I thought it would work well in our guest bathroom. I was so excited to show it to Kyle, but he was lukewarm with the idea. He didn't love it as much as I did. I went home emptyhanded, and a little bummed. Today he called me from work to tell me that there was a sink on KSL that he liked. We decided to settle on it. I am not deeply in love with the tulip idea. I am hoping that it will be cute with our vintagey house. It is a special edition sink from Kohler. Online it sells new for a whopping $1600.00. (Who the heck pays that much for an uggo tulip sink?)It came with a dark granite countertop, and a nice faucet too. We were able to get it for $74. Kyle thought it was funny that I tried to whittle the price down. I am happy with the good deal, and he is happy with the granite. So it was a win-win situation. Oh, and as soon as we set it down Addie started filling it up with dog food. So she is happy with it too. Now hopefully we can just find a nice and CHEAP cabinet :)
