I have been trying to find a dance or gymnastics class for Addisen. I don't want it to be competitive or even super structured- I just want to give her the opportunity to dance and run around while meeting a few little friends. I have had a hard time finding one that I like online. There is "The Little Gym" But I think that their prices are a little high, and because I travel a lot with Addie she wouldn't be able to make it to all of the classes. Any suggestions?
do they do classes for girls so little?
ReplyDeleteDo it yourself. Look into reserving a room at the library or getting into the church once a week. Post flyers invite a few friends and see who shows up. You can always ask for donations to help get things for your little group i.e.balls, mats, music, ribbons. It could be really fun. There is a community center here that offers a similar group. It's 2 dollars to attend. So, you might check a community bulletin. Oh yeah, Kindermusic is another idea. A lot of churches here offer that as a weekday activity. Don't really know that much about it, just that they have it.

ReplyDeleteJenny Johnson told me about a free expression/movement class at BYU for kids, for cheapish. Talk to her. Also, I heard something about the Rentz's daughter teaching one on one. Some people have also told me there are lots dvds out there, I keep meaning to look into that.
